Building a Labour politics that is popular, principled and practical starts with being rooted in communities across the UK - and ensuring our programme for change reflects people’s real hopes, concerns and values.
As Labour campaigns for the Senedd, Holyrood and English local elections, the feedback coming directly from voters is one of our most valuable resources. We need to listen carefully - and make sure it shapes our offer to the country.
At this Organising Forum, we’ll reflect on what we're hearing on the doorstep and what it means for Labour’s direction. Members will have the chance to share their experiences, explore how these insights should inform our national offer, and help shape how we, as Mainstream, organise and campaign for change.
We’ll be joined at the start of the call by Matthew Brown, Leader of Preston City Council and a leading voice behind the “Preston Model” of community wealth building. He’ll speak about the vital role of Labour in local government - and why these coming elections are crucial.
